We may be smack dab in the middle of the dog days of summer, but we predict that this could be the longest patio season in history… mostly due to Covid-19. And while the coronavirus might make us wear a mask or refrain from going indoors more than usual, we won’t let it steal all of our joy! Lucky for us, The B-Line has many options for great patio sipping in Northern Kentucky.
If this sidewalk shot doesn’t make your mouth water, we’re not sure what will. Enjoy the full Rich’s bar and restaurant menu from the Covington sidewalk.
The patio at Coppin’s is swoon-worthy. Lights, people hanging out, dogs on the patio, the food and libations… really the whole nine yards. We love it.
Tousey House’s patio will take you back. You’ll feel like you’re sitting on the back porch at grandma’s house, eating her hot brown. So much so that you might lick your fingers in public and not even realize it. (No judgement here!)
If the hustle and bustle of city streets is more your scene, head to Bouquet in Mainstrasse Village and enjoy a sidewalk spot on their patio. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.
Front porch sippin’. Enough said!
Tucked down an alleyway, if you’re walking too fast, you might miss this gem. The Globe has an awesome patio in the heart of Covington.
Old Kentucky Bourbon Bar (OKBB)
You can’t go wrong with any of the Mainstrasse Village patios and OKBB is no exception! Decorated with umbrellas and twinkling lights, you’ll love hanging out in their back yard.
With Goodfella’s Pizzeria downstairs, Wiseguys has the luxury of having two floors of patio seating to use. So spread out and enjoy a slice and a sip.
Prohibition Bourbon Bar at Newberry Bros. Coffee
Though they currently have limited hours, we can’t wait until the day that we can enjoy the patio at Prohibition again.
Good news for bourbon lovers–you can now get Second Sight Spirits at the Bridgeview Box Park at Newport on the Levee. If you haven’t heard of the box park yet, it’s kind of like the ultimate patio, so get there and check it out soon!
Cheers, y’all!
